

It is recommended that you choose automatically over the internet. You will be asked if you want to update over the internet or through email.

There shouldn’t be any changes to the firewall settings, so click Next. It should not have changed because you are using the same server.

Take note of the server name and port number. Go to the Server Administration Tab, choose Modify, and then Activate/Reactivate. Launch the SolidWorks SolidNetwork License Manager from the Start Menu. Most of the times it is located in C:Programs files or C:Program files. You will need to reactivate the server to make the new license available to the client machines. This will open up a list of all the programs and features installed on your computer. Don’t worry! We won’t be uninstalling anything.
